Flower Tips
-
Do the flowers look wilted?
- Prepare a bathtub/container that is larger than the size of the flowers
- Fill the bathtub/container with water
- Submerge the whole flower in it for more than 3-4 hours for Gerberas and Sunflowers, and 2 hours for Greenbell
- Sunflower leaves tend to wilt easily, so please remove the leaves after receiving the flower*If the flowers are not wilted, there’s no need to perform this step
-
Want to keep your flowers fresh for longer?
- Change the water daily and keep it cold (add ice cubes for extra freshness)
- Trim the stems diagonally by 2-3 cm daily (for eucalyptus, trim 1 cm every 2-3 days)
- Keep the flowers away from direct sunlight
- If the stems feel slimy, rinse them thoroughly
- If available, give flowers a flower food
-
Is your garberas bent?
- Wrap the entire stems and petals in newspaper to keep them straight and protected
- Soak the stem tips in water after cutting them diagonally.
- Store the flowers in a cool, dark place.
*Gerberas are easy to bent
